Our tribute to Peggy Lee
Peggy Lee was one of the Twentieth Centuries greatest talents sadly lost to us in 2002. Our show explains how she became the “Queen of Cool” and the “Queen of Hot” in one musical performance. How Peggy fought Walt Disney and won, also not forgetting her amazing skills as a composer.
The show will feature nearly thirty of her hits, among them some of the great definitives of the popular song including “Fever”, “Manana” and the sublime “The folks that live on the hill”. It is the real rags to riches story of the late great Peggy Lee.
This show stars the brilliant Emer Mc Parland one of this countries top professional vocalist’s together with the Opus One Orchestra and Strings.
